Has your smile become dull over the years? Would you like a brighter, whiter smile, but you’re not sure what teeth whitening product is best for you?

How deeply stained your teeth are will go a long way towards determining what tooth whitening products or procedures are right for you.

Tooth whitening toothpaste is a popular option for people with minor stains on their teeth. Unfortunately, the compounds in whitening toothpaste aren’t strong enough to brighten teeth with moderate to severe stains.

Teeth whitening strips have slightly stronger concentrations of bleaching agents than whitening toothpaste. Strips can be applied directly to teeth for around half an hour per day and will brighten moderately stained teeth over time.

Whitening gel is often stronger than strips. Most people use the gel at home. To use it you simply pour a small amount into a bleaching tray that is inserted into the mouth. Then use a cotton swab to remove the excess gel from along the gum line with a cotton swab.

If you’ve tried retail products and you aren’t satisfied with the results or your teeth have moderate to severe staining, then you are probably the perfect candidate for our in-office teeth whitening procedure. Having your dentist perform this procedure is the most effective way to get a bright white smile.
